Trial Policy
It is our pleasure to allow you, our valued customer, the opportunity to take the saddle you have selected "on trial".
Our policy is that you may take the saddle "on trial" for a 7 day period after you receive it.
We will charge your credit card for the full amount of the saddle, plus shipping, and sales tax if applicable.
If you wish to keep the saddle please let us know within the trial period and we will finish the transaction.
If you wish to return the saddle, please contact us prior to shipping so that we know when to expect it.
When we receive it we will give you a full credit card refund for the amount of the saddle,
provided it is in the exact same condition as when it was shipped to you.
If the saddle is returned with markings you will be charged 20% of the cost of the saddle.
If the saddle has significant damage we reserve the right to refuse the return of the saddle.
Any saddles returned after the 7 day period may be subject to refusal or a restocking fee.
This does not include the amount of time it takes to ship the saddle back to us.
In order to ensure that our saddles remain in new condition here are a few guidelines.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our policy.
Please do not ride in the saddle for more than 10-15 minutes.
Wrap the stirrup leathers with the saddle socks provided for you. This prevents marks from your leathers on the flaps of the saddle.
Do not ride in jeans or full chaps.
If wearing tall boots on a light colored saddle please wrap them with polo wraps to prevent the transfer of black onto the saddle.
Do not clean or oil the saddle while it is on trial.
Please use a clean, dry saddle pad to prevent marking the panels.
Do not store the saddle in your car or in large boarding facilities.
Please review this carefully and if you need help with fitting please contact a LA Saddlery Associate.
We will be happy to assist you with selecting the right size for you and your horse.
Saddle Disclaimer
Due to the nature of saddles and their fit, not all models may be
available immediately.
Store stock may be used to fit your horse and yourself and then the
proper size seat and
tree may be ordered for you, if needed. Some saddle size combinations
are available ONLY
by special order!
Please allow extra time for these. Please refer to the La Saddlery Trial Policy for
any questions regarding the care of your saddle while trying it. You
will be required to
"sign" a copy and return it to LA Saddlery prior to us shipping
the saddle to you for
trial. All specially ordered saddles are FINAL SALE! No exceptions.
LA Saddlery has a certified Albion saddle fitter on premises!
Our other representatives are also highly qualified to fit you into the right saddle!
